Aberdeen City Council housing new build housing schemes at Wellheads, Auchmill and Summerhill have District heating installed. Heat is metered in all properties and payable directly to Aberdeen Heat and Power.

Our aim as a not-for-profit company is to provide low-cost, low-maintenance heat, and our customers report a significant reduction in their bills while enjoying thermostatically-controlled radiators in every room.

Aberdeen Heat & Power delivers affordable, clean, fully controllable heat to thousands of Aberdeen City Council high-rise tenants. Residents typically see a 40% reduction in their heating bills, and benefit from thermostatically-heated radiators as well as our commitment to maximum reliability and minimal maintenance.
COMMERCIAL BUSINESSES
At Aberdeen Heat & Power, we are committed to delivering a cost-effective alternative to gas that also reduces carbon footprints while meeting commercial planning objectives. This is a key commitment for us as from 2024, it will no longer be possible to connect to the mains gas network. We work to connect both new build and existing premises to our network.
